Providing 30 Orphans with Love and Hope

For its 30 resident orphans, the Hope Centre isn’t just a source of physical and financial support — it’s a source of hope.

Based in Pietersmaritzburg, South Africa, this incredible Centre also brings much needed emotional and physical support to hundreds of children and adults suffering from HIV/AIDS in the nearby Sweetwaters community.

First and foremost the Centre exists for its abandoned children and orphans who are completely dependent on it to survive. Most orphans arrive as babies, growing and developing within the Centre’s loving, nurturing environment until they reach adulthood.

The centre also reaches out to the sick and starving in the Sweetwaters Community offering urgently needed food, clothing and medicine. There are over 6,000 AIDS orphans in the community and, sadly, around 120 adults die every week.
